NEW RIVERSIDE, SHREWSBURY
DTZ is advising Shropshire Council on the disposal of freeholds to facilitate a
344,000 sq ft (31,000 sq m) comprehensive town centre retail development.
Despite significant market challenges, the scheme has progressed and
construction is intended to begin in 2015.

SWANSEA CITY CENTRE
DTZ is advising the City and County of Swansea, in association with Welsh
Assembly Government, on the significant improvement of the core retail
and leisure area in the city centre. The public sector partners have recently
assembled most of the development site, and are currently working with
La Salle IM, on behalf of Coal Pension Properties Ltd, on an appropriate
partnership. Hammerson are the potential preferred development Partner.

CENTRAL CAR PARK AND THE MALTINGS, SALISBURY
DTZ has acted for Wiltshire Council on the marketing and disposal of the
Central Car Park and The Maltings site in Salisbury since July 2010. The
process has also involved DTZ negotiating the terms of the Development
Agreement on behalf of the Council with the preferred developer.
The proposed scheme will provide 400,000 sq ft (37,000 sq m) retail in the
heart of Salisbury town centre which is in keeping with the town’s heritage.
Stanhope Plc were selected as preferred development Partner in April 2012.

TOWN CENTRE EAST, ROCHDALE
Town Centre East represents Rochdale’s key regeneration project aimed at
revitalising the town centre through delivery of a 300,000 sq ft (28,000 sq m)
comprehensive retail led development.
The Development Agreement has been signed and demolition is being
undertaken by the Council. Agreements are in place with over 90% of
landowners. Submission of a planning application is anticipated in late 2014
