HIGHCROSS, LEICESTER
DTZ worked with Hammerson, originally in the acquisition of the Shires
Shopping Centre and then on the delivery of this innovative project, which
led to a step change in retail provision within Leicester.
The role has involved the full co-ordination of the project team together
with leasing, land assembly, planning and viability advice.
The scheme opened in 2008.

CABOT CIRCUS, BRISTOL
DTZ advised Land Securities and Hammerson on the letting of the
development which opened in September 2008. The scheme provides
1.5m sq ft (140,000 sq m) of mixed use space including 120 retail units,
15 restaurants and a 13 screen cinema.
The centre is anchored by a 153,000 sq ft (14,000 sq m) Debenhams and
130,000 sq ft (12,000 sq m) House of Fraser. Other tenants include Harvey
Nichols, Cult, Hollister, Urban Outfitters, The North Face, Oliver Bonas,
Apple, White Company, Fat Face, Links of London and Carluccio’s.

PRINCESSHAY, EXETER
DTZ provided agency services to Land Securities in respect of this scheme
which opened in 2007. The scheme totalled 400,000 sq ft (37,000 sq m) and
provided over 60 shops, cafe and restaurants.
The scheme is anchored by Debenhams and other tenants include: Next,
Zara, TopShop, River Island, All Saints, Reiss, Karen Millen, AH Moda, Strada,
Wagamamas and Carluccios.

ARC AND APEX, BURY ST EDMUNDS
DTZ advised St Edmundsbury Borough Council, in partnership with Centros
Delancey on the successful delivery of the award winning Arc and Apex
scheme in Bury St Edmunds.
The scheme is an excellent example of a comprehensive mixed use
scheme. The retail element is anchored by Debenhams, and comprises of
approximately 40 shop and restaurant units. There are some 100 residential
units above this, together with a major cultural venue and town square at the
scheme’s heart.
